So who says you can't put crap glass on a good camera and expect a good result? Whoever they were, they were wrong. This was shot with the $99 fantastic plastic 50mm . . . . I wanted something that would let in a lot of light and the 85mm is just too tight a crop sometimes . . . . see below for reasons of needing light . . . fail
So I organised a big photoshoot last night for vamps vs damsel in distress with plans to use theatrical stage type lighting and wacky colours and I blew up my lights LOL . . .
So . . . we moved location and I went for ambient only, no lighting, no modifiers . . . I had a big sad but it worked out well and we have a lot of fun because the shoot became a lot less serious.
Had a lot of fun with this model, a cosplayer and very dedicated helper of mine who has never worn a dark wig because she insisted dark hair didn't suit, has never worn goth clothing before and is the first time wearing lipstick, first time wearing corset . . . . kudos to an amazing result!!
